Northern Ontario Region

The Northern Ontario Region of Hemophilia Ontario was previously known as NEOR-DAC.  Our three key areas of focus are:

  • Fundraising
  • Public Education and Awareness
  • Formation of a New Youth Committee
Our support and programs are throughout the region from the Manitoba to the Quebec border with specific services in the communities of Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie, Manitoulin Island, Sudbury, Dryden, Red Lake, Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.

NOR will support HO and CHS long-term commitments by incorporating their Vision, Mission, and Values, and is guided by a sense of duties that prioritize the mutual respect, participation, and the engagement of a broad range of members.  In a novel manner for such a committee, and inclusion will in the future, better extend our services and programs to the aboriginal communities in the region.
