ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The CHSQ is looking for a dynamic and professional person, skilled in interpersonal relations, able to anticipate and respond to the needs of various partners of the organisation. The candidate must work to achieve its objectives and to develop the organisation.
 

Jobs and responsabilities 
Under the supervison of the executive director, the administrative assistant will offer support in preparing and following-up on various  files of the organization.  The primary responsabilities of the administrative assistant will be to work in the following areas:
  • Accounting: payroll, accounts payable and receivable; receiving and treating donations
  • Information, referals and support for members and partners of the organisation
  • Administrative support for logistics involving activities, meetings and events
  • Diffuse and preserve information and the organisation’s archives
  • Maintain inventory, general filing and documentation.

Qualifications and experience 
  • Training* in administration or accounting
  • Two years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience with the Dynacom accounting program or another similar program
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken French and English
  • Experience with MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat and Power Point
  • Experience with ProDon and FileMaker Pro is an asset
  • Experience in organizing events or philanthropic management
  • Knowledge in the Mac environment is an asset

Qualities required
  • Discrete, meticulous, autonomous and flexible.
  • Good sense of organization
  • Ability for teamwork, good communicator
  • Ability to manage several projects at once.
 
Employment conditions
  • Part-time position (2 to 3 days a week)
  • Occasional availability evenings and weekends (3 to 4 times a year)
  • Salary according to experience, with competitive social advantages after three to six months.
  • Position starts January 2018.

* The absence of a diploma can be compensated by pertinent professional experience.
