Direct Aid Program

The objective of the Canadian Hemophilia Society - Quebec Chapter (CHSQ) Direct Aid Program is to contribute to improving the quality of life of people affected by a hereditary bleeding disorder in allocating them financial support, and that, in particular circumstances.

CHSQ's David-Pouliot Bursary Program

In order to encourage young people with a bleeding disorder to attend college, university or a professional vocation or all people affected by a bleeding disorder to make a return to school or to attend a professional development course, the CHSQ, in collaboration with its financial partners, offers the opportunity to obtain a scholarship for the academic 2016-2017 year.

Scholarship descriptions

Academic scholarship  
This grant category is for members who have a bleeding disorder and are students at a college, university, or registered in a vocational school.

Encouragement award   
This grant category is for members who have a bleeding disorder that will follow a course of professional development in their field or who will make a return to school, regardless of level of education.

Summer camp counsellor training

CHSQ provides training for young people aged 16 and over who wish to obtain a position as an assistant counsellor at our summer camps.

A specialized training (NACCHO) in managing youth hemophiliacs may also be available for those wishing to get involved for several years with young campers.
