Make it red & bright!

This year, to increase public awareness throughout Quebec, we challenge all our members to wear RED, to light up their home, business, yard or office in RED for World Hemophilia Day. You can even ask your school, church, city hall or community centre to add red outdoor lighting.

If you accept the challenge, send us a picture with a short description and the exact location. The best photos will be published in the next issue of L’Écho du facteur and a special mention given to the family or building that will have shone the brightest. This year, our challenge is to be the province that is the most involved in highlighting this special day.

THE 2018 SOREL-TRACY QUILLES-O-THON

The 9th edition of the Sorel-Tracy QUILLES-O-THON for the benefit of the CHSQ will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, starting at 6 p.m., at Salon de quilles Le 300, located at 300, rue du Collège, in Sorel-Tracy.

This regional fundraising event aims to improve the health and quality of life of people with inherited bleeding disorders as well as those suffering from the consequences of a contaminated blood transfusion. All money collected will be used to support free access to quality blood products, promote research, raise public awareness and offer quality services and programs to our members.

The 2018 CHSQ FAMILY WEEKEND: OUR LIVES, OUR HEALTH, OUR RIGHTS

The CHSQ family weekend will be held March 23-25, 2018 at the Hotel Chéribourg, located on the edge of Mount Orford National Park.

Under the theme Our lives, our health, our rights, this activity offers you a great opportunity to get information and to share with other people living with the same reality as you. It also offers you a chance to relax in a magnificent setting.

The official program will soon be available but we can already confirm that the CHSQ Annual General Meeting will be held Saturday afternoon, an ideal time for CHSQ members to learn about what has taken place during 2017, and to elect members to the 2018-2019 board of directors.

A number of workshops will be offered, in French and English, and the organizing committee has taken into account suggestions from participants to develop a great program with a few surprises.

To register, simply complete the form available HERE and return it by e-mail, post or fax before February 23, to take advantage of the reduced fee. Don’t wait too long, the number of places is limited!

LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING AS MANY OF YOU AS POSSIBLE!
